Today, one can find honey infused with just about every flavor imaginable. This should be distinguished from the honey that is distinct because of the type of flower. Modern honey producers often infuse honey with different flavors. They are easily distinguished by color, and of course by taste. Different plants create different types of honey. Honey is incredibly influenced by the flowers and plants to which the bees have access as they go about their work.
